Malaria

'The study of one infectious disease (e.g. malaria, HIV/ AIDS) its global distribution and its impact on health, economic development and lifestyle.’

Malaria is the world's biggest killer, particularly among the under 5s. For a disease that was almost eradicated in the 1950s it is now back on the agenda. What is the future? Will it become a disease of the past?

Remember the female of the species is more deadlier than the male!
It is only the female mosquitos that carry the malaria parasites.

A typical A/S Level 15 mark question.

Prevention and Treatment - Cure?
